Stop by Gallery 50, located at 50 West Main Street in downtown Waynesboro, to see the current exhibit “Where the Wild Things Are – Flora and Fauna in Art.” It is a fun, lighthearted exhibition of artwork that’s colorful, beautiful, and sometimes even a little scary! There are paintings, photography, hand-pulled prints, and fabulous fabric art by 11 talented artists. Plants and animals are the subject. Great variety! Admission is free.
The eleven artists include: Denny Bingaman, Sharon Coons, Andrea Finch, Melissa Hook, Katrina Hoopes, Robyn Jacobs, Patricia McCleary, Rhonda Smith, Anne St. John, Scott Strong and Carol Wilks. The Gallery also has new fine art and crafts by local artists including: pottery, jewelry, photography, wood carvings, books by local authors, cards and much more.
“Where the Wild Things Are” Exhibit will be on display through October 26, 2024. Gallery 50 is open Fridays 5 – 8 pm and Saturdays 11 am – 5 pm.
