An adult/teen educational program of local or regional environmental interest, co-sponsored by Antietam Watershed Association and Renfrew Institute. Speaker is Craig Highfield with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, Forestry for the Bay. Highfield discusses strategies to promote woodland stewardship on private lands—educating landowners about the connection between healthy woodlands & clean water. The goal of the Forests for the Bay program is to increase the vitality of wooded areas to improve the health of local streams, rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. Free.
