Habitat For Humanity and St John’s United Church of Christ have partnered together again to host a used book sale to benefit Habitat’s housing ministry. Over 30,000 books, puzzles, games, music, and more were donated by the community. Donations for the sale are now closed. The sale will take place at St. John’s UCC over three days on Oct 25 (Fri) from 2-8pm, Oct 26 (Sat) from 9am-5pm and Oct 27 (Sun) from Noon-4pm. This is a volunteer-led initiative and all proceeds will be used to help build the next Habitat house in Franklin County. Mark Story, Habitat Director of Advancement says, “Following the success of our previous sales we are pleased to provide this opportunity to the community again. We especially thank the leadership at St. John’s Church for the sale space, BCM Payroll Services for their generous sponsorship, and The Butcher Shoppe for donating bags.” St John’s Church is located at 1811 Lincoln Way East in Chambersburg.
