Greencastle Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Seasonal Marketplace on Saturday, May 20, 2017 in downtown Greencastle. The Marketplace is sponsored by Meritus Health System.
Seasonal Marketplace will be held from 9am to 3pm on the square in Greencastle. The focus of this unique event is the craftsmanship, skill and talent of the vendors and artists. All items are hand-crafted, hand-made, earth-friendly and unique. There will be a variety of crafts, food, seasonal produce and local chefs on the square.
Products for sale include crafts, jewelry, produce, BBQ, as well as books by local authors. Entertainment by local musician Rowan Lewis will take place in the morning hours of the event.
“Seasonal Marketplace was conceived with the intention of highlighting our downtown area, showcasing local talent, and creating a forum in which a farmer’s marketplace might eventually take shape. We purposely keep the event small enough to fit on the square and it is our hope that this seasonal experience will become a monthly one,” said Georgina Cranston, Executive Director of the Greencastle-Antrim Chamber.
