After the success of the Chambersburg and Waynesboro Pokémon maps, the Franklin County Visitors Bureau is releasing four new Pokémon maps to cover more of the sights of Franklin County.
The Greencastle map invites explorers to nine Pokéstops in downtown. One of the new maps covers three of the local colleges, Penn State Mont Alto, Wilson College and Shippensburg University. Another map incldues two of Franklin County’s special green spaces; Norlo Park and Caledonia State Park. The fourth includes downtown Mercersburg, Fort Loudoun and St. Thomas.
Three exclusive maps highlight stops in the downtown area and take visitors on a journey across beautiful Franklin County. More information and destinations in those areas are also available for those wishing to extend their visit. Previous Pokémon Maps that the Visitors Bureau has created include Downtown Chambersburg and Waynesboro.
Trainers are welcome to come into the Vistors Bureau at 37 South Main Street, Suite 100, to get their own copy of the map during office hours 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
