Save the dates: June 25,26 and 27 for the Fort Loudoun Market Fair, featuring the best artisan craftspeople of the Eastern United States who specialize in dead trades of the 18th Century; blacksmithing, tinsmithing, leatherwork, pottery, hornworkers, textiles, glassblowing, etc. They will be demonstrating their trades while selling their product.
The three-day, inaugural event promises family fun, opportunities to learn and experience for history buffs, and access to 60 beautiful acres of the more than 200-acre site of Fort Loudoun. The Market Fair is open Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Sunday hours are 9 AM to 4 PM. Some of the highlights are:
