From Mussorgsky’s iconic and thrilling Night on Bald Mountain to Ravel’s whimsical Mother Goose Suite, fairy tales have long inspired great musical works.
The program also includes Hexenritt (The Witch’s Ride) from Humperdinck’s opera, Hansel and Gretel, Dvorak’s The Noon Witch and Liadov’s dreamy and mysterious The Enchanted Lake.
