Shippensburg Band presents Annual Spring Concert, Shippensburg Covenant Brethren Church

Sunday May 5th, 2024 * 2:30 PM

The Shippensburg Band is proud to present a free concert featuring the talents of local musicians performing timeless music selections!

Admission and parking are free; donations are accepted.

A highlight of this concert will be Slide Ride featuring soloist Keith Davis on trombone!

This concert will also feature performances of Symphonic Dance No. 3 “Fiesta”, Slide Ride, The Doors on Tour, Man of La

Mancha, and more.

The Shippensburg Band, currently directed by Carl Sponenberg, is a community band that has gathered many individuals from Shippensburg, PA and surrounding area to make music and share it with others.

The band is a dynamic group of young and old from all walks of life, some with degrees in music and/or music education but most participants are amateurs.

We rehearse on Tuesday nights between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM in the Shippensburg Covenant Brethren Church.

Anyone who plays a band instrument is invited to come to a rehearsal and join the band.
