Private Pesticide Applicator Short Course at Penn State Extension

Wednesday January 31st, 2024 & Thursday February 1st, 2024 * 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

The two-day event will be held at the Adams County Agricultural Center, 670 Old Harrisburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325.

During the short course, Extension Educators will cover the content in the Pennsylvania

Pesticide Applicator Certification Core Manual and supplement booklet, provide pre- and posttests and knowledge check quizzes throughout, give test-taking tips, and explain how to earn and maintain a pesticide license.

Participants will also have the chance to hear from and ask questions of a PDA inspector.

The private pesticide applicator licensing exam will not be offered as part of this course.
