EXPLORE! The Five Frozen Senses | Buttonwood Nature Center, Waynesboro
Tuesday January 14th, 21st, 28th and February 4th, 11th, 18th * 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Kids will practice using their senses to observe nature in winter.
They’ll go on a scavenger hunt hike, make their own winter wind chimes, and observe all the life that is still in the forest during winter while they learn about the natural world.
Plus, hot chocolate will warm everyone up!

Fee: $6 per child, per session for member of Buttonwood/The Institute, and $7 per child, per session for the general public.

The first of six after-school winter EXPLORE! programs.
Designed for kids in grades K to 5, the winter EXPLORE! programs will run on six Tuesdays, January 14, 21, 28 and February 4, 11, 18. Sessions are after school, from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Location is to be announced.
All program activities are outside, and each week features a different theme.
Taught by educators from Buttonwood Nature Center, home of The Institute, programs include educational activities related to the season and theme.
Students may attend any or all sessions.
