49th Opening Day at Renfrew Museum & Park, Waynesboro
Saturday April 13th, 2024 * 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
You’re invited to join us for this free event to kick off our 49th tour season.
Enjoy springtime at Renfrew!
Activities will be centered exclusively at the Fahnestock Farmstead, located at the southern end of Renfrew’s historic area.
Explore our industrial farming heritage and learn how the many families who once called Renfrew home made a life for themselves here.
PROGRAM NOTES: Our entire property is open from dawn to dusk, so feel free to explore the rest of the farmstead, Little Antietam Creek, and our nature trails.
Due to the focus of this special event on the Fahnestock Farm, please note that the Renfrew Visitors Center and Royer Farmstead will be closed for the day.
PARKING: Free parking is available at the Visitors Center and Welty Road lots.
No vehicles will be permitted to drive onto the farmstead.
Enjoy an afternoon of engaging living history demonstrations to include hearth cooking, period toys and games, textiles work, fence rail splitting, heirloom gardening, and more!
View special display of antique farm machinery and learn about the new Renfrew Mill, currently under construction.
