Visitors to the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center are enjoying the Cumberland Valley Model Railroad Exhibit. The exhibit was placed for visitors to enjoy during the Festival of Trees and is staying longer for winter visitors to enjoy. Train enthusiasts will want to visit the home of the Cumberland Valley Model Railroad at 440 Nelson Street in Chambersburg. On display are 10 gauges of trains: In all, there are 3700 pieces of rolling stock; 1207 on the tracks and 2500 on display. There’s 909 square feet of HO, 501 of O and 120 of N. There are 35 gauge miles of HO track, 8- O scale miles and 10- N gauge miles. The space is filled with trains, as far as they eye can see and overhead.
