Franklin County Visitors Bureau and Benchfield Farms are pairing up for A Little Spooky Horse & Wagon Rides on First Friday, October 6, 5 PM to 8:30 PM. Get into the Halloween spirit with a few not-too-scary stories and some firsthand accounts of ghosts in and around Chambersburg’s Main Street. Rides begin at 5:00 PM and load in front of F&M Trust, 20 South Main Street. Last ride boards at 8:00 PM. Rides are 30-minutes and guided. Each rider receives a set of Chambersburg postcards and “Fright Sight” brochure to explore some favorite Franklin County haunts.
Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Babies and children up to and including age four ride free with an accompanying adult. Wagon has a surrey top. Seven ride times are available and advance tickets for ten adult seats are being sold. Sign up here. The public is welcome to stop by the boarding area to see if there is capacity for additional riders on Friday evening.
Enjoy October First Friday, Paint the Town Pink, and hop aboard A Little Spooky Horse & Wagon Ride for a different view of downtown Chambersburg.
