The Ceramic Arts Center of Waynesboro, 13 South Church Street in Waynesboro is featuring an art project for children, ages 5 to 13 on Saturday, April 8, 1 PM to 3 PM.  Participants will be making a ceramic dream catchers, a wind chime that responds to the gentle outdoor or indoor breeze.

During this 2-hour session, Lesley Quesdada, will guide children step by step in how to make their own ceramic Dream Catcher using a combination of slab and sculpture. Each Dream Catcher is made from durable stoneware clay, and the students will be paint them with colorful high fire glazes.

Students will have the opportunity to use various decorative applications to make their dream catcher a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.  Each workshop costs $25.00, which includes all materials, glaze and firings.
