On exhibit at Allison-Antrim Museum, in the Barn’s South Exhibit Bay, during October and November 2016 is a premier collection of vintage presidential campaign buttons. Some of the earliest include William McKinney, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Herbert Hoover, and campaign buttons of opponents like Bryan Stevenson.

The collection includes Presidential campaigns through 2008. This collection brings breath of conventionality to the 2016 election season. The Presidential Campaign Button Collection, on loan from AAMI board member, Bruce McLanahan II, will be on display until after November’s Presidential Election Day. In addition to the buttons is an original, handmade Presidential banner for Tippecanoe & Tyler Too, donated to the museum from the G. Fred Zielger family of Greencastle.

Allison-Antrim Museum, 365 South Ridge Avenue, Greencastle, PA 17225, is open regularly Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 4 p.m., and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
